The Scots School Albury 2023 HeliDrop Fundraiser Promotion • Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Promotion commences on 17 June 2023. Entries close 5pm AEST on 1 December 2023.
  2. The price of a ticket is fifty dollars ($50).
  3. There will be no more than one thousand (1000) tickets sold. These will be sold on a “first in” basis based on the time in which the correct sum of money is received and confirmed by The Scots School Albury.
  4. Entrants are not restricted or limited to the number of raffle tickets which may be purchased.
  5. If the winner/s are under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to their parents or legal guardians.
  6. Entrants must complete (or receive assistance in completing) their contact details in the section provided.
  7. Incomplete or illegible entries will be ineligible. Complete entries must include a first and last name, with an email address or a telephone number, at a minimum.
  8. The number printed on each ticket will correlate with a numbered golf ball, which will be loaded into a helicopter on the day of the draw and dropped onto Wilson Oval at The Scots School Albury (“the draw”) around 5pm on 1 December 2023. Actual drop time will depend upon air traffic control approvals on the day.
  9. Prior to the draw, flags will be erected on Wilson Oval by The Scots School Albury. Each flag will denote a prize from the prize pool.
  10. The golf ball deemed closest to each flag will be determined the winner of that prize. The Scots School Albury Promotion Committee’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. Any person who breaches the perimeter of Wilson Oval (“the drop zone”) while barriers are in place will void their ticket/s and will be ineligible for a prize.
  12. The draw is being conducted independently of all people associated with the conduct of the HeliDrop Promotion, therefore The Scots School Albury staff (aside from the “HeliDrop Promotion Committee”) and members of their households are permitted to purchase tickets in the promotion.
  13. The draw will take place on 1 December 2023 at 5pm AEST at Wilson Oval, The Scots School Albury, 393 Perry Street, Albury NSW 2640. Winners will be announced at the draw, and notified by phone and/or email within 3 business days of the winners being drawn, and the winners’ names will be published on The Scots School Albury website on 6 December 2023.
  14. Winners do not need to be present at the draw to win a prize.
  15. Any decision of The Scots School Albury is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. The Prize Pool includes but is not limited to:
    - One night’s accommodation at The Loft Yarrawonga - valued at $500, with thanks to the Hawley Family
    - One night’s accommodation at Circa Albury - valued up to $595, with thanks to the Yaxley & Wright Families
    - Your choice of $5000 off your school fees at The Scots School Albury, OR $2000 cash
    - Return helicopter transfers ex Albury Airport to All Saints Estate, Rutherglen, plus a long lunch at All Saints Estate (to the value of $800) for four (4) adults - valued up to $3800, with thanks to Rotor Solutions Australia & JC Butko Engineering
    - Four (4) tickets to any day of the 2023 Boxing Day Test in Melbourne, or the 2024 New Years Test in Sydney* - valued up to $800, with thanks to Cricket Albury Wodonga
    - A laptop to the value of $2000 - with thanks to MicroTech DPS
    - Full vehicle valet, with paint and interior protection treatment - valued at $1850, with thanks to Baker Motors
    - Tonkin Care Package (Residential) - valued at $600, with thanks to Tonkin Group
    - Voucher for two (2) adults to enjoy the “Pop & Fizz” Pizzini Winery Experience* - valued at $150, with thanks to Pizzini Wines
    - A full set of Falken car tyres, fitted and balanced - valued up to $1000, with thanks to Jappo Donks Tyres, Wheels & Batteries
    *Travel and accommodation (if required) is at the winner’s expense
  17. Total prize value is more than $15,000.
  18. Prize winners must provide their original ticket and collect their prize from 393 Perry Street, Albury NSW 2640.
  19. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  20. If any prizes remain unclaimed for 1 (one) year, The Scots School Albury will deal with such prizes in accordance with the law.
  21. The Scots School Albury shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  22. All entries remain the property of The Scots School Albury. Entrants consent to The Scots School Albury using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome). The Entrant also agrees that The Scots School Albury may use information provided by the Entrant for future promotional or marketing purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the Entrant, including sending the Entrant electronic messages and telephoning the Entrant.
